A large group of travellers have now left a greenfield site in Eastington.
The travellers were spotted leaving the Owen Harris Memorial Field in Eastington – also known as Snakey Park Recreation Ground this evening, Friday, which is home to Taverners FC.
Eastington Parish Council had closed the entire site – including the community hall following their arrival on Thursday.
A car boot sale, which was due to take place on Saturday has been moved to the field opposite St Michael & All Angel’s Church in the village.
Meanwhile, archery group the Bowmen of Minchinhampton have moved their annual tournament on Sunday to Cheltenham.
