Casting their football eyes towards next season, Brimscombe & Thrupp is planning to launch a new reserve team and require a manager to help guide this new chapter at the Meadow.

The move will help foster links with the first team, who will start next season in Hellenic League Division One West.

Club chairman and former player Neil Long told Stroud Times: “Initial enquiries with the Stroud League indicate we will likely be place in one or their top two divisions.”
