Brimscombe to face Brockenhurst after thrilling victory over Welton

Sam Prior’s Brimscombe will face a trip to Wessex League Premier Division Brockenhurst in the FA Vase second-round after beating previously unbeaten Welton Rovers 2-1 at the Meadow on Saturday.

Captain Ollie Pitt opened the scoring for the Lilywhites with a sumptuous strike, but Jack Slocombe netted parity for Rovers before the break. With two minutes to go Harlie Price picked out Dave Woodfield who smashed the winner home.

Ties are to take place on Saturday, November 20th. Winners will receive £900, losing sides get £275.
