Yard Trail Stroud makes a welcome return next month.
The popular event will return on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30th between 10am – 2pm.
Taking place in front and back gardens across the district, Yard Trail Stroud brings the community together to buy, sell or give away anything and everything from clothes, furniture, and bric-a-brac to artwork and plants.
Started in 2017 by Victoria Ashcroft, the increasingly popular event aims to connect people to their neighbours, keep landfill to a minimum and enable anyone who wants, to follow the map on the day to pick up a bargain.
2019 saw more than 100 households register for the event, which couldn’t take place in 2020 due to Covid 19.
It’s back for the 4th time this year when all Covid regulations in place at the time will be adhered to.
Sellers have until Sunday, August 8th to register to be added to the Yard Trail map, which will subsequently be available online or via various cafes and shops in Stroud.
Victoria Ashcroft added: “A lot of us have really missed second-hand sales. We’re really looking forward to seeing the community out and about again, discovering more of Stroud, buying, selling, recycling, and chatting to their neighbours again.”
