Championship outfit Bristol City have signed former Forest Green goalkeeper Lewis Thomas.

The ex-Forest Green keeper was released by Rovers at the end of last season and was brought to the Nailsworth outfit by City’s current goalkeeping coach Pat Mountain in 2018 after starting his career at Swansea City.

Thomas will provide cover for Max O’Leary and Stefan Bajic while Harvey Wiles-Richards is injured.

The 26-year-old has signed a deal until the end of January 2024.
