Butterfly photography competition will benefit Longfield Hospice

If you’re a keen photographer, you’ll love this butterfly-themed photo competition from Longfield Community Hospice in Minchinhampton.

To celebrate their Butterfly Appeal, the hospice is looking for images which represent the butterfly in all its glory. Whether that’s a real butterfly, a butterfly artwork, or something that encapsulates the beauty of the butterfly.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned snapper with a fancy camera or simply enjoy taking a shot on your phone, all entries are welcomed.

Winners will be chosen by public vote from three age categories: ten years and under, 11 to 17 years, and 18 years and over. One photograph per entrant is permitted.

The top three photos from each age category will be displayed at Stroud Museum in the Park, as part of the hospice’s special Butterfly Appeal. In addition, the winning photographer from each age group will receive either a Sainsbury’s or Vue Cinema gift voucher worth £40.

Submit your photographs by Monday, June 28 to be in with a chance of winning. Click here:  Longfield Hospice’s Butterfly Photo Competition (woobox.com)
