Cainscross Town Council is raising money to purchase a defibrillator.

Unlike other parishes, Cainscross currently doesn’t have a single devise.

The lifesaving piece of kit will be located on the side of the new pavilion in Victory Park – the largest green space in the parish, used by the likes of Cainscross RFC.

Jessie Hoskin, Project Officer at The Pavilion in the Park, said: “We are holding a raffle for the chance to win six months membership to Anytime Fitness, a hair cut from The Barbour Box, a hamper from Nikki’s Nails and a Fat Toni’s food voucher.”
