Today’s Remembrance Day parades in Cam, in the morning, and Dursley’s in the afternoon, were extremely well attended, despite the wet weather.

Hundreds turned out to show their respect on the Nation’s Day of Remembrance.

Many local dignitaries and groups were involved – the reading at Cam’s parade was read by the vicar at St George’s Church, Rev Fiona Crocker.

Stroud MP, Siobhan Baillie, and Labour Party parliamentary candidate, Dr Simon Opher, along with Dursley Mayor Cllr Alex Stennett laid wreaths at the Gates of St James Church in Long Street in the afternoon.
