Camera club’s competition season gets underway

Stroud Camera Club held its first competition of the 2023-2024 Season last week.

The competition judge was Graham Walton, past Chairman of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation who gave every photograph the benefit of his many years of experience with considered critique of composition and technique.

20 Atkinson Richard Wet qualifying | Camera club's competition season gets underway

The competition is divided into Print and Digitally Projected sections. Winner of the Print Section with 20 points was Jeff Wilson with his wonderful portrait entitled The Profile. Runners up, each scoring 19 points were Roger Matthews with Bow Fiddle Rock and Richard Atkinson with Sula.

In the Digital section, the winner with 20 points was Richard Atkinson with Wet Qualifying. Three runners-up, each scoring 19 points, were David Hunt with I’ll Bee Collecting Pollen, Gary Canning with Follow The Leader and Kerrin Malone with Slot Canyon All the competition entries can be seen at www.stroudcameraclub.co.uk/results
