A Stroud man has spoken of the destruction caused by the La Palma volcano.
Nathan Green, 36, who now lives on the Canary Islands, captured some of the first images of the erupting volcano.
The Cumbre Vieja volcano has been erupting for almost three weeks, prompting the evacuation of more than 6,000 people and destroying hundreds of homes.
Two more earthquakes have rattled the island this week, amid a fresh surge of lava from an erupting volcano.
Part of the volcano’s crater has also collapsed – two weeks after the first eruption.
Spain’s National Geographical Institute said it recorded two quakes on Monday that had a magnitude of more than 3.0.
Following the first eruption on September 19th, more than 6,000 people were evacuated from the surrounding area.
