Carlisle United have signed former Forest Green midfielder Harvey Bunker on a two-year deal.
Bunker,23, was deemed surplus to requirements by Rovers at the end of the season and will make the move to Brunton Park when his contract expires at the end of the month.
The versatile Bunker signed his first professional contract in July 2020 at the age of 17 after his release from Southampton.
During his time with the club, he went on to make 149 senior appearances and scored 11 goals.
Rob Elliot, Carlisle Head Coach told the Cumbrians’ website: “Harvey is an exciting young player. He has had experience in higher divisions in League One and League Two, and obviously knows the National League well.
“I still think the best is yet to come from him. He can play in a couple of positions in midfield and at the back. I think he’s someone who brings great physicality and technicality.
“He’s a great lad. He wants to be here. I feel like he sets the right tone in terms of young, aggressive players who want to get better personally, and at Carlisle.”
