Police are appealing for information following the theft of a vehicle from Eastington near Stroud last week.

It was reported a white Ford Transit van that was parked on a residential street was stolen on Monday 23 February.

It is believed unknown suspects took the vehicle at around 7.45pm. The van was then captured on CCTV being driven at speed down Bath Road and then Alkerton Road.

Officers believe a red Vauxhall Insignia may be linked to the theft as further CCTV footage from a neighbouring property captured the vehicle driving slowly towards the van before it was stolen.

Police would like to speak to anybody who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time or has any dashcam or CCTV footage which they consider relevant.

Anyone with information can report it through the website, quoting incident 140 of 24 February: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/

We are lucky around Stroud. We have a number of schools that take the provision of good quality, sustainably produced, locally sourced food for children through the school day (from breakfast clubs, lunchtime and after school clubs) seriously. It’s good for the children and their education, good for the community and great for local suppliers.
