“Celebrating Euan’s life has helped us all deal with the pain of losing him.”
On a night filled with love and music, Euan’s family and friends were entertained by a raft of DJ’s who gave up their time for free, Racheal added: “The DJ’s Jamie Rainbow, Mark “Moggie” Moore, DJ Siany B plus Benny G were so brilliant and gave their time for free.”
Racheal has drawn comfort from the support of the team at the Old Lodge and members of Euan’s former club at Minch RFC.
“They have put a bench in the pub garden looking towards the sunsets as Euan loved a good sunset. He always used to sit there to have his breaks.
“Minch Rugby Club was a massive part of Euan’s life and helped shape the man he became.
“They have been so supportive over the past year and I know we will always be part of their family.
“We want to raise money to create a permanent memorial that will support future generations in the way Euan was supported.
“Euan’s life was about having fun and celebrating and that’s what we did on Saturday.
