In a year when many small festivals are folding under financial and logistical pressures, the award-winning Chalfest is proudly defying the trend.
Returning on July 18th and 19th to Chalford Hill, this beloved community-run festival continues to grow stronger, offering a vibrant, family-friendly festival with something for everyone.

Chalfest is more than just a music festival—it’s an annual event powered by volunteers, local talent, and an unwavering commitment to independence. It’s an impressive lineup featuring over 40 artists including main stage headliners Kula Shaker, Judge Jules, Fisherman’s Friends, Toby Lee, Dick and Dom, The Amy Winehouse Experience and more.

There are two more music stages featuring both local bands and up and coming talent such as Thrill Collins, Albino Tarantino and Omega Nebula. Throw in a traditional Village Green, Comedy Tent, arts and crafts, markets, bars, food trucks and loads of free stuff for kids to make, see and do and you really do have something for everyone.

Chalfest offers a unique alternative to the corporate-dominated festival scene by also giving free space to local charities and community groups to raise both funds and awareness for their causes.

One of the Festival Directors, Dan Burner said: “In an era where smaller festivals are struggling to stay afloat, we’re proving that there’s still a place for an independent, community run event that continues to deliver.”
