Chalford Valley playing field closed due to mole disturbance and potential contamination

MOST READ

Chalford Valley playing field has been temporarily closed after mole activity unearthed hazardous materials, including glass, ceramics, and cement-bound asbestos.

In response, Chalford Parish Council has commissioned environmental consultants, Sanctus Ltd, to begin soil, water, and air testing from Monday, August 4. The results will determine whether remedial action is needed. Until then, the field will remain closed as a safety precaution.
