Children in Need: Uplands Playgroup raise vital funds

Tiny tots at Uplands Playgroup supported Children in Need, today.

They took part in face painting, disco dancing and sold cakes.

“We are proud to say we have raised more than £80,” said Debbi Scobell from Uplands Playgroup.

Graham Norton, Ed Sheeran and a celebrity version of First Dates will all feature in Friday’s BBC Children in Need appeal show from 7pm this evening on BBC One.

Ahead of this year’s show, BBC weatherman Owain Wyn Evans made Children in Need history after his drumathon became the charity’s most successful 24hr challenge, making more than £3 million.
