Christmas message: Steve Robinson, County, District & Town Councillor for Nailsworth

MOST READ

During 2023 Nailsworth has had many community events run by dedicated volunteers in our community.

Every month our successful outdoor market is held in the Mortimer Gardens and during the summer stalls have been out in Market Street.  Nailsworth Festival and the Transport Fair were also well supported during the summer.

What’s going to happen for Nailsworth in 2024?

I hope that, with only one empty shop in Nailsworth, residents of Nailsworth and the surrounding district will continue to support our businesses, which are the biggest employers in town.

With my ‘councillor’s hat on’ there will be Town and District elections in May.  I hope that residents will come out and vote as it is very important that they do so.  There is still time to apply for a postal vote and residents attending a polling station will need voter identification.

I would like to wish all residents a joyful Christmas and a peaceful new year.
