As festive lights twinkle and the year draws to a close, we at The Long Table, nestled in the heart of Brimscombe Mill, extend our warmest Yuletide greetings to you.

This year has been a remarkable journey, made possible by your unwavering support. As we’ve made Brimscombe Mill our home, your encouragement has been our cornerstone. To our Friends of The Long Table, your financial support, wisdom, and encouragement have propelled us forward. We’re deeply grateful for your commitment, the wind beneath our wings.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the farmers and growers of the Stroud Valleys. Your dedication has enriched our kitchen with an abundance of delicious produce, forming the backbone of our culinary adventures.

A festive nod to the vibrant youngsters of our Teenage Kitchen, led by Chef Owen and sponsored by Steppes Travel. Your zest has added a unique flavour to our community, filling us with hope for a delicious future.

To our phenomenal team, your creativity and hard work have turned the Mill into a sanctuary of radical hospitality. Each event has brought our walls alive with laughter and community spirit.

Our gratitude extends to our sister social enterprises, Kids Stuff, Furniture Bank, and Bike Drop, and to all our neighbours, Friends, local businesses, and organisations who’ve chosen us for your gatherings. Your support is a testament to the power of community.

Looking ahead, we’re as excitement as a lively sourdough starter. By Easter, we anticipate we’ll have welcomed over 35,000 people to eat with us in just one year. How could we forget that, “Amazing things happen when we eat together.” In this spirit, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new Grace Network social enterprise emporium in Cirencester’s historic Old House of Fraser, right on the high street. This new endeavour will have The Long Table right in the middle of everything, an invitation for you to join us in shaping a community-centered future there too.

As we step into 2024, we invite you to our ever evolving warm space, to continue celebrating community and culinary delight. Bring someone to The Long Table, share a meal, and experience the joy of togetherness. The magic of The Long Table lies in the people we share it with – people like you.

Happy Christmas and here’s to a peaceful New Year!
