A lucky 25-year-old fan of Clarkson’s Farm has said he “can’t believe I’m now Jeremy’s neighbour” after winning the keys to a 17th century country house in the Cotswolds worth over £5 million – along with £250,000 in cash – for just £25.
Anthony Martin has won the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Cotswolds, and is now the proud owner of a quintessential five-bedroom property showcasing period features, plus a heated outdoor pool, all surrounded by glorious Cotswolds countryside.
The luxurious property comes mortgage free and with all legal fees covered. Anthony has also been given a whopping £250,000 in cash, to help him settle in, and can decide to either live in the house, rent it out for a supplementary income or sell it whenever he wishes to become a cash multi-millionaire.
If Anthony decides to keep the property, the £250,000 would enable him to run the house for many years. The house also comes with £180,000 worth of furnishings, ready for him to enjoy.

If Anthony, the second youngest Omaze Grand Prize winner, chooses to rent it out, local estate agents estimate that the property could achieve a long-term rental value of between £13,000 and £18,000 per month.
Anthony, who was born in Asia and currently lives with family in Cambridgeshire, bought his £5 million winning entry for just £25 as part of his Omaze subscription, which he only started last month.

He has been working as a deckhand on yachts for the past year and said he is “more used to sleeping below deck in cramped bunk beds, rather than mansions”.
Anthony revealed he’d never been to the Cotswolds before, but is a fan of Clarkson’s Farm saying he “can’t believe I’m pretty much Jeremy‘s neighbour now”.

A flabbergasted Anthony said: “I was backpacking in Spain when Omaze got in touch to tell me I’d won something.
“I didn’t have any credit on my phone, so I didn’t see any of the missed calls or emails at first, but when I eventually topped up and saw all the messages, I started to think I might have won something pretty decent.

“When Omaze actually called me to say I’d won the £5 million house in the Cotswolds, I was stunned. That’s not a call you get everyday, I just couldn’t believe it, I was in total shock. I had to call them back to make sure it was real!

“One minute I’m staying in a hostel, in a 15-bed dorm, then the next thing I know I’m a multimillionaire—that was an unexpected upgrade for sure.
“I had a couple of beers to celebrate, but nothing too wild as I had to be up early—not that it made much difference as I probably only slept for 20 mins, my mind was whirring trying to process what had just happened.”

On his new house: “This is my first time in the Cotswolds and I can see what all the fuss is about, it’s beautiful around here. The house is stunning, the walk-in fridge is bigger than my current kitchen… and that’s just the fridge! Everything has been done so nicely, I love it. I’m looking forward to diving into the pool and hosting all my friends and family in such an amazing house.

“I’ve been watching Clarkson’s Farm and I can’t believe he’s going to be my neighbour now, it’s just crazy.
“At 25 I hadn’t even considered owning so much as a garden shed yet, but now my first property is a £5 million house—it’s so surreal.

“I’ve been working as a deckhand on yachts for the past year, so I’m more used to sleeping below deck in cramped bunk beds than places like this—I can stand up straight in this place for a start.
“We’ll be having a huge family Christmas here. There are around twenty of us and I’m normally the one who ends up sleeping on the floor, but now I’m guaranteed a bed as I’ll be hosting everyone else for change!”

On what his big win means for the future: “It’s a case of second time lucky—I only started entering Omaze last month, so it’s definitely paid off! Thanks to the £250,000 I also get as part of the win, I could afford to stay here for years if I wanted to. I don’t know what I’ll do yet, I’ve got a lot to think about, but this win has changed my life forever—my future is sorted now, whatever I decide to do, it’s an incredible feeling.”

Anthony’s Cotswolds stone-built property offers an enticing combination of historical character brimming with many period features, combined with all the comforts of modern day, contemporary luxury living.
Positioned with a desirable south facing aspect, the house is flooded with natural light throughout, enhancing the sense of space and warmth throughout the property. The alluring period features include classic mullion windows, exposed wooden beams and original fireplaces.

The main residence will offer him a spacious layout with two reception rooms providing perfect spaces for entertaining friends and family.
The expansive, bespoke kitchen and dining areas have an abundance of high-end fixtures and fittings and lead directly onto the large south-facing terrace.
The terrace itself connects to a heated outdoor swimming pool, framed by stone decking complete with its own changing room and shower facilities.

The property also includes a detached, self-contained, two-bed cottage—a guesthouse for Anthony to host his friends and family. A secluded garden to the side of the main house features a Roman well and original well house, adding more historical charm to the grounds.
The house boasts meticulously landscaped gardens, including planted borders, lawns, mature trees and a kitchen garden. A small footbridge leads across a stream to a private wildflower meadow and tranquil lake, offering a peaceful, secluded space to relax in nature.
As well as making Anthony a multimillionaire, the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Cotswolds, raised£4.2 millionfor Guide Dogs.
Over two million people in the UK are living with sight loss—a number projected to double by 2050.
From childhood through to adulthood, Guide Dogs’ expert staff, volunteers and life-changing guide dogs transform the lives of people with vision impairments; providing confidence and ultimately enabling people with sight loss to live the life they choose. Guide Dogs needs funding from partners like Omaze to continue to provide this vital support.
Andrew Lennox, CEO at Guide Dogs said: “We are truly overwhelmed that an incredible £4.2 million has been raised for Guide Dogs through the Omaze Million Pound House Draw.
“Every day, 250 people in the UK begin to lose their sight—that’s one person every six minutes. Without the right support, sight loss can be profoundly isolating. Thanks to the generosity of the Omaze community, we can provide life-changing services that empower people with a vision impairment to live the life they choose.
“The money raised will fund 1,350 puppies during their first eight weeks of life and cover the cost of expert care to their mums and dads. It will also fund a year’s worth of food for all 3,200 working guide dogs.
“With your support, Guide Dogs can continue opening up a world of opportunity for people with sight loss across the UK and each Omaze player of this draw who sees a guide dog at work in the next 10 years, will know that they had a hand in making that partnership a reality.”
The partnership with Omaze was backed by actor and Guide Dogs Ambassador, David Bradley.
James Oakes, President of Omaze, said: “Everyone at Omaze is over the moon that Anthony has won this spectacular house in the Cotswolds, whilst also contributing to our huge raise for Guide Dogs.
“Omaze offers people the chance to win amazing houses, whilst also introducing charities to new audiences that they wouldn’t normally reach—it’s a real win-win for entrants and our charity partners. We’re immensely proud that the Omaze Community has now raised over £93 million for good causes across the UK.”
