An iconic fish and chip shop has closed its doors.
The popular Chip Shed – based in Minchinhampton was a go-to place for a number of celebrities in the area, including Edith Bowman and Editors front man Tom Smith
Owners Dan, Gregg and Jim released a statement on social media, they said: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of The Chip Shed in Minchinhampton.
“Due to ongoing staffing challenges and the tough economic climate, we have had to make the difficult decision to step away.

“We are incredibly sad to be leaving Minchinhampton, but we want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support, loyalty, and trust over the years.
“It’s been a challenging journey at times, but we have truly loved every minute of it. Serving this wonderful community has been an absolute privilege.
