An outbreak of Covid has halted the Cotswold Players’ production of Nell Gwynn.
Five performances were due to take place this week, but the shows have now been cancelled.
A Cotswold Playhouse spokesperson said: “It is with great sadness that the Players announce the cancellation of its production of Nell Gwynn which was due to open tomorrow, October 19th, for five performances this week.
“This difficult decision has been taken because of an outbreak of Covid-19, affecting a small number of cast members.
“We extend our hopes for a speedy recovery to all those affected and look forward to seeing them in the Playhouse again soon.”
