A festival feel came to Stroud on Saturday as crowds enjoyed the second outdoor art fair.
Held at Bank Gardens in conjunction with Lansdown Hall and Stroud Town Council, the event featured a wide variety of work by local artists ranging from oil paintings to jewellery, collage, photographs and cyanotype prints.
Organiser Chris James said: “If we can grow this event it could really help to bring in more visitors. We also feel it sits really well under the Open Studios event, filling a gap for those starting off, with limited work or simply not owning a studio.
“It really took on a festival feel with a circus act group. Next year, we will have music, taster art activities, literature linked art, and possibly up to 60 artists demonstrating and showing work with some raising funds for charities.”
