Vogue Haircare is celebrating 60 years in business at 10 Gloucester Street.
The long-standing Stroud hair business was founded by Sue Hickman in March 1965 and later purchased in 2000, by Louise Price, Sue’s former apprentice and long-time hair stylist at the salon.

Louise and her team will be joined by Sue to celebrate Vogue’s Diamond Anniversary. Many of the salon’s new and loyal, long-standing clients will be joining the celebrations, while raising money for the Longfield Hospice in Minchinhampton.
Vogue owner Louise said: “We are looking forward to celebrating 60 years of hairdressing in Stroud, and sharing Champagne, cakes and a fund raising raffle for Longfield, with prizes kindly donated by L’Oréal, Redken, Moroccan Oil, Aston & Fincher and Eleven.”
The charity is of special significance, as a number of Vogues’ clients have received care there over the years. In addition, Sue opened the first hairdressing salon at Longfield, known then as Cotswold Care Hospice.
