Dashcam and witness appeal after man seriously injured in Whitminster

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious injury collision in Whitminster yesterday evening (Saturday 24 January).

Officers were called to the A38 Bristol Road at around 6.45pm after a collision involving a pedestrian and a yellow Hyundai.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital today (Sunday).

Road closures that were put in place were removed later that evening.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam footage and has not yet spoken to police, is asked to contact officers.
