Defibrillator installed at Bailey Paints

A life-saving piece of equipment has been fitted outside Bailey Paints.

Branch manager Karen Levick at the paint manufacturer in Brimscombe. instigated the defibrillator installation on the Griffin Mill site after attending a first aid training course.

Kind-hearted landlords of businesses on the Griffin Mill Estate, B. Walker and Co Ltd, covered the costs for this vital piece of life-saving equipment.

A defibrillator can be used by anyone to shock a person’s heart back into a normal rhythm if they suffer a sudden cardiac arrest and increase the chance of someone surviving from nine percent to 50 percent when compared to the use of CPR alone.
