The Door has been supporting the young people and families of the Stroud District and surrounding area for more than 30 years. Building confidence, providing safe spaces and hope to countless vulnerable members of our community.
This has only been made possible thanks the generosity of others. Whether individuals, groups, businesses or clubs, donations have made sure it’s possible to #KeepTheDoorOpen
“If you haven’t already supported The Door with a financial gift then there could be no better time. Thanks to the Four Acre Trust donations over £500 made before the end of September will be doubled,” said Anne Townsend, operation and events co-ordinator.
Anne explained how some criteria must be met: “You must be a brand-new donor. Even if you sponsored that guy to run a marathon for The Door it counts! (sorry).
“Any donation needs to be between £500 and £10,000. Donations should be made directly to The Door, either by cheque (made payable to The Door Youth Project) or by bank transfer (Account 65374506, Sort Code: 08-92-99) If this is an issue please get in touch with the team.
“Donations must be in our bank account by midnight on Thursday 30th September 2021. Making a donation? Firstly thank you! Secondly, please do let us know it’s on the way so we can make sure it will be matched.
“As a charity donations of any size are always welcome and so appreciated. If you have donated before or would like to make a smaller gift you can do so at https://www.thedoor.org.uk/donate” added Anne.
