Stroud’s Five Valleys shopping centre has welcomed, Ellen Cleevely, to the management team.
Ellen joins the Five Valleys team with a strong background in retail and customer service and will be working with the Centre Manager, Jessica Derham, as Assistant Centre Manager.
Ellen, who is from Gloucester will support Jessica in all aspects of centre management as well as playing a key role in driving the success of the popular Borough Market style indoor market at Five Valleys.
The Five Valleys centre has undergone a major transformation over the last two years creating new retail and residential space as well as working towards delivering a new health care and library hub, which will be completed in the autumn.
Ellen is looking forward to taking on her new challenge as part of the Five Valleys team and to working with the centre’s businesses and market traders.
She said: “I am really excited to have joined the Five Valleys team, the centre looks fantastic I am a regular shopper here and feel passionate about the market in particular.
“I’m delighted to start working with all the great businesses and traders here.”
The market has brought a range of high-quality artisan food traders to the heart of the town, including The Artisan Baker, Pershore’s Fisheries, Armadeli and Waghorne’s Butchers, as well as a great line up of street food traders.
Jessica said: “We are really pleased to welcome Ellen to the team, we have an exciting year ahead with the opening of the new medical centre and library this autumn which will see a greater number of shoppers and visitors coming through the centre.
“We are also getting prepared for the busy summer months and looking forward to making announcements soon about further businesses who will be joining us.”
