Elvis tops the bill at the Nailsworth Festival

Elvis McGonagall will top the bill for the much-anticipated return of the Nailsworth Festival.

A stand-up poet, comedian and broadcaster, Elvis, will perform on Saturday, August 21 in an action-packed week of blues, jazz, comedy, poetry, drama, and literature.

Free entertainment and a market will also take place on the opening day, Saturday, August 21st – 10am.

Tickets for the evening entertainment are available online at: www.nailsworthfestival.org.uk

Tickets can also be bought in person (cash or cheque only), from the Town Information Centre during library opening hours. The Library, Nailsworth, tel: 01453 839222.

Audiences may be limited to adhere to social distancing guidelines and therefore fewer tickets than normal may be available. 

WHAT’S ON: (Friday 20th August); US country blues performers, Michael and Sadie Roach (Saturday 21st August); ‘The Second Best Bed’ by Avril Rowlands, starring Liz Grand (Sunday 22nd August); local author, Kate Riordan (Monday 23rd August); guitarist Keith Hyett (Tuesday 24th August); comedy magician Tom Elliott (Wednesday 25th August); presentation and performance 120 Years of the Blues” from Tim Hughes (also Wednesday 25th August); singer/pianist Helen Porter (Thursday 26th August); award-winning Stroud writer-performer, Philip Douch (Friday 27th August).
