Emergency crews attend scene after man sadly dies

A police cordon was put in place on Queen’s Drive in Cashes Green, Stroud, on Monday morning following the sudden death of a man.

Emergency services were called at around 6.50am after he was found injured in the street. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Several police vehicles attended, and the area was temporarily cordoned off while enquiries were carried out.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said that the death is not being treated as suspicious. The man’s next of kin have been informed, and their thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “Despite the best efforts of paramedics the man was later pronounced dead. “Enquiries have now taken place at the scene and the death is being treated as non-suspicious at this time.

” The man’s next of kin has been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
