A new café has opened in Dursley.
The café, located on Parsonage Street, has a room with cats where people can come by to say meow.
The café can be found at the back of Steve Morris’ First Class All Sorts shop.
Steve’s wife Caroline has six cats and brought in three of her pack on the opening day, this morning, Friday.
“My ideal job was to work with animals, so this is just perfect,” said Caroline.
“Cats are very therapeutic and we have grooming stuff and toys, so people are welcome to brush them,” added Caroline.
The cat café is open from 10am – 5pm, and people can pet the cats whilst they enjoy a snack or a drink – hot and cold drinks cost £1 and cakes and savouries are just £1.25 and 70p for a bag of crisps.
