The Prince Albert pub in Rodborough is holding a beer, cider and music festival this bank holiday weekend.
Starting on Thursday, the festival features live music each day, with Truckstop Honeymoon playing on Friday, Twisted Bingo on Saturday and Songs from the Porch and The Wanderers on Sunday. Monday sees the pub and neighbours taking part in Stroud Yard Trail.
“Around half the beers are from Wales,” said licensee Miles Lyster Connolly, “I discovered a lot of them after a recent trip to visit my dad in South Wales.”
Miles says Jaipur, a strong IPA beer from Thornbridge Brewery is a firm favourite. Other artisan ales on tap include PA/03 a brew from Tiley’s, a micro brewery based at The Salutation in Ham, near Berkeley.
