Five Valleys pop-up shop seeks views on Sharpness redevelopment

Sharpness Development LLP is continuing its dialogue with the Stroud community by hosting two consultation events at a pop-up shop in the Five Valleys Shopping Centre this Friday, 22nd and Saturday, 23rd November, from 10am to 2pm.

The pop-up shop, at Unit 36 near the King Street entrance, allows Gloucestershire residents and businesses to learn more about Sharpness Vale, a significant development of 2,750 homes that will deliver affordable housing, new jobs, and a sustainable community for Gloucestershire.

Following two well-attended drop-in events in Sharpness that welcomed more than 125 participants, these sessions bring the conversation to Stroud, emphasising that Sharpness Vale is not just about Sharpness. This development benefits the entire district and the wider Gloucestershire area. The project represents a forward-thinking approach to low-carbon living, sustainable transport, and job creation in industries of the future.

Laurence Clarke, representing Green Square Accord, said: “We’ve been encouraged by the conversations so far about Sharpness Vale and are excited to continue the dialogue in Stroud. This pop-up shop is an opportunity to share our vision for a sustainable future that combines affordable housing, nature, and local jobs.

“Come and visit us at Five Valleys Shopping Centre for a coffee, pastry, and a chat, and explore how Sharpness Vale is shaping a brighter, sustainable future for the district.”

Andy Faizey, Strategic Land Director at Lioncourt Strategic Land, added: “Our goal is to connect with the wider community to showcase how Sharpness Vale will benefit the entire district. Whether you’re interested in new homes, sustainable transport, or job opportunities, we invite you to stop by and learn more about this transformative project for Gloucestershire.”
