Pancake racers brought their pans to Dursley to compete in the annual race on Shrove Tuesday.
This quirky tradition saw runners, many in fancy dress, competing against each other in a race down Parsonage Street, flipping pancakes as they go.

Starting outside Parsonage 53, racers tossed their pancakes six times in total – once at the start of the race, twice on the way up, once at the halfway point as they turned around, then twice more on the way back to cross the finish line.
Stroud Times’s Faye Hatcher romped home in the first heat to reach the final, but the overall winner was Ross Bowden, Personal Trainer at Active Lifestyles Stroud District.

Trophies were awarded by Dursley Town mayor Cllr Alex Stennett in memory of Dursley stalwart Eileen Nichols.
