Stonehouse FC has unveiled its new supporters’ bar and hospitality suite.
Pictures have emerged of the new “state-of-the-art” suite which is located at Oldends Lane in Stonehouse.
Stonehouse Town Mayor Gary Powell kicked off proceedings by cutting the ribbon to officially open the new facility named The Nest.
On the pitch, the Hellenic League Division One West outfit toasted the new bar with a resounding 7-1 victory over Littleton thanks to braces from Lewis Bainbridge, Finley Fowler, Lee Keveren and a Thomas Palmer goal made it a day to remember for the Magpies.
Stonehouse spokesperson Liz Anderton: “The suite is going to be a brilliant addition to the club, but we hope it can benefit the whole town too. It offers a fully licensed bar, and air conditioning and overlooks the pitch nicely. We are currently looking into having a screen and a Sky Sports package installed.
“We have a few finishing touches to make but we are hoping to offer the venue out for hire in the future, for parties or as a training facility.”
