Jordan Moore-Taylor has made a sensational return to the club after being released by former manager Duncan Ferguson at the end of the season.
Rovers’ captain was enticed back to the New Lawn after talks with Director of Football Allan Steele.
An integral and ever-present member of Rovers’ League Two title-winning side back in 2022, Moore-Taylor has made 92 appearances for FGR, scoring four goals.
Upon returning to the club, Moore-Taylor said: “I’m over the moon to re-sign. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but being back amongst the lads has been great.
“I’ve spoken to Allan a few times – and the way he wants the club to move forward is a really exciting proposition for me.
“There’s no point in dwelling on last season, it’s time for us all to push forward.”
A delighted Steele added: “The whole club are extremely excited to see Jordy return to FGR.
“He’s had some amazing experiences with this football club and knows what it takes to drive the team forward. He’s a great leader and a tremendous character.”
