Forest Green confirm Harries loan and Bamba departure

Forest Green have announced two departures from their squad.

Defender Cian Harries has left on a season-long loan to newly promoted, fellow National League Side, Kidderminster Harriers.

Harries made one league appearance last season. He was signed by former boss Steve Cotterill in January 2025 on a permanent deal from National League side, Woking for an undisclosed fee.

Meanwhile, attacker Yahya Bamba has joined League Two Newport County for an undisclosed fee. He joined Rovers in July 2025 from Isthmian League club Eastbourne Borough F.C.

He played 14 games for FGR, scoring one goal before joining Brackley for a brief loan spell in February this year.
