Rob Edwards’ first competitive match in charge of Forest Green will see his side open the 2021/22 League Two campaign at home to newly-promoted Sutton United.
The first derby match for new head coach Edwards is against John McGreal’s relegated Swindon Town is at the New Lawn on October 9, with another relegated club, Joey Barton’s Bristol Rovers visiting on November 27.
Former boss Mark Cooper makes his return to Rovers with Barrow on November 23.
Boxing Day sees Rovers go to Newport County, who they lost out to in last season’s play-off semi-finals.
Rovers welcome Stevenage at home on New Year’s Day, while Oldham Athletic at home on Good Friday and Bristol Rovers away on Easter Monday are the two Easter fixtures.
The season ends at Nigel Clough’s Mansfield Town on May 7.
