Gillingham’s leading goalscorer from last season has joined Robbie Savage’s Forest Green.
Jayden Clarke netted seven goals for the League Two side in 33 matches, but found himself a free agent after being released at the end of his contract.
“Jayden is exactly the profile we really want,” said Rovers’ boss Savage.
“He is exciting and dynamic – with dynamism being something I want to instil in my team. Jayden will certainly enhance our squad.”
Clarke came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur’s academy and has also had spells with Dulwich Hamlet, Bedfont Sports and Hendon.
The wide man arrived at the Priestfield Stadium back in January 2023 and went onto make 81 appearances scoring nine goals.
