Manchester United midfielder Maxi Oyedele has signed for Forest Green on loan until the end of the season.
Oyedele becomes Rovers’ fourth addition of the January window and is ready for his second loan spell in senior football having spent the second half of last season with Altrincham in the National League.
The 19-year-old joined United at the age of eight and is a Poland Under-19s international. Born in Salford, Oyedele is a versatile operator who also has experience playing as a defender.
After joining Rovers, Oyedele said: “I’m very excited to be here and I’m looking forward to getting started.
“I will bring energy to the group, professionalism and quality as well.
“I will let loose and give it my all. There will be no stone unturned. I believe we can climb up the table, that’s why I’ve come here, so I’ll be doing everything I can to help with that.”
Head Coach, Troy Deeney, added: “Maxi is a wonderful talent and we’re extremely lucky to have him here.
“The fans will enjoy watching him and we need to make sure we get him in a place where he can showcase his talent.”
