Forest Green director of football Mark Bowen has made his first signing for the club.
Bowen has swooped for Eastbourne Borough FC striker Yahya Bamba,26, who scored four goals in 39 matches for the National League South outfit last season.
On the capture of Bamba on a two-year deal, Bowen said: “Yahya is an exciting player with incredible speed who can play all across the front line, a handful for any opposition. He’s got a great attitude and all the potential to develop and push on further.”
French born, Bamba joined Eastbourne from Cray Wanderers in 2022. Previously with Phoenix Sports, he made a significant impact when signing for Sevenoaks Town in March 2021, and scored 10 goals in 9 games to help Sevenoaks steer clear of relegation from the Isthmian South-East.
