Former Forest Green star Ebou Adams shines on Cardiff debut against Leeds United

It was a long time coming, but former Forest Green midfielder Ebou Adams finally made his Championship debut for Cardiff City, entering the cauldron of Elland Road as a first-half substitute in a dramatic 2-2 draw at Leeds United.

Adams joined the Bluebirds last summer from Rovers, but just 10 minutes into his City debut, in a pre-season friendly against Cambridge United, an awkward fall during a challenge caused a horrendous injury in which he ripped his pectoral muscle off the bone and put him out for the whole season.

Adams was summoned from the bench on Saturday when he replaced Joe Ralls on 31 minutes with City 1-0 up and played his part on what looked to be an opening day victory until Crysencio Summerville scored a last-gasp equaliser in the 95th minute to end a four-goal thriller.
