New Forest Green boss Robbie Savage has returned to his former club Macclesfield to bring in experienced coach John McMahon.
McMahon,61, the brother of former Liverpool and England legend Steve, boasts a raft of managerial acumen with the likes of Morecambe and two stints as as caretaker manager at Tranmere.
More recently, McMahon was number two to current Shrimpers boss Derek Adams in a couple of spells in the north west.

During his time with the club, McMahon helped guide them to promotion from League Two through the play-offs in 2021.
Rovers have revealed that two members of former boss Steve Cotterill’s backroom staff have now left the club – first team coach Rob Edwards and head of recruitment Russell Milton.
