Former Forest Green midfielder Manny Osadebe has joined League Two newcomers Barnet.

The energetic 28-year-old was released by Rovers at the end of the season having helped them reach the National League play-off semi-finals.

Starting his professional career with Dundalk in Ireland, he later joined Tottenham Hotspur’s Youth Programme in 2014 before making a permanent move to Gillingham in 2015. He has also served Cambridge United, Macclesfield, Walsall and Newport on loan.

He played 61 league games for Forest Green after joining them from Bradford City in January 2024.

Barnet manager Dean Brennan told the Bees’ website: “Manny’s a super athletic lad and ticks a lot of boxes for us in that department with his power and his build. Not just that; he’s got good technical ability and we believe we can help him be a better player. We believe we can help him score more goals and add that to his game.

“He bought into our philosophy and our mindset. We think he’s going to be a real asset for us. We think he’s going to be a strong player for the group.”
