Minchinhampton Parish Council has completed the purchase of the former surgery site on Bell Lane.

This important site, right in the heart of Minchinhampton, has been secured for the benefit of the whole community. By taking ownership, the Parish Council seeks to ensure the site remains available for community-focused use.

The Council will now begin discussions with potential redevelopment partners, including Stroud District Council, Gloucestershire County Council, and other key stakeholders, to explore future possibilities for the site.

A spokesperson said: “The input of the local community will be important. We would encourage everyone to get involved and have their say in shaping the future of this space. Public meetings and consultations will be taking place in the coming months — details will be shared on parish noticeboards, our website at www.minchinhampton-pc.gov.uk, and through our social media channels, so please keep a look out and come along.

“Together, we can ensure that this space serves the best interests of all in Minchinhampton Parish.”
