Petra Zechelova and Amy, a Swiss Mountian Dog, won the dog agility section.

The event, which featured a dog agility trial, was compered by Nick Hill and raised money for Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home. The best in show winner also received a 12-month Pet Health Club subscription from Clockhouse Vets in Stroud.

“About 50 per cent of our customers bring dogs with them when they visit, so we thought we’d organise Crusts,” explained Pennie McKenzie, owner of Boho Bakery.

Wendy Ball and Queenie won the dog that looks most like its owner class.

The café already serves ‘puppacinos’ and dog treats, as well as taking orders for cakes for dogs.

“We’ve made a dog-friendly cake for the overall winner, and we’ll be announcing a full dog menu by the end of the year,” Pennie added.
