FX Live specialises in Winter effects such as artificial snow, falling snow and they are the sole UK suppliers of eco-friendly ice rinks from Glice. Senior Account Manager, Rachel Chalmers said: “We were thrilled to be invited to create this wonderful project at the fantastic Jolly Nice Farmshop.

“It’s a fantastic venue which lends itself perfectly to creating some Christmas magic for the community. Finding sustainable and eco-friendly solutions for the special effects industry is something we’re incredibly passionate about and being able to showcase our Glice Rink, as the only eco-friendly ice rink in Gloucestershire is very exciting.

“We hope that Stroud residents and beyond will enjoy the experience as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it and that more UK venues will do the right thing and make the switch to these easily accessible sustainable alternatives.”

The rink was launched on Friday and the event also featured an appearance by two of the Randwick Reindeer who will be doing a meet and greet on December 16th. For more details: Jolly Nice Winter Wonderland 2023 (
