Grand total raised at Longfield Hospice fete

Longfield Community Hospice held their Summer Fete last weekend in the hospice’s grounds.

There was a wide variety of entertainment including stalls, games, a classic car show and live music. More than 600 people visited, and the grand total raised was a whopping £5,275.87.

Simon Bernstein, Longfield Chief Executive, said: “We were delighted to host our popular Summer Fete again this year. It was a fantastic day and great to see so many people from the local community supporting Longfield.

“We’d like to thank everyone who made it such a success, by volunteering on the day, donating prizes or by coming along and joining in. The money raised will help fund our vital services for people across Gloucestershire with life-limiting conditions and support their loved ones and carers too.”
