This month, curator Patricia Brien is hosting a multi-media exhibition at Hallidays Mill Gallery.

The event starts today, Friday – from 3 pm until 5 pm – and will run until September 26th.

The opening day will feature Anna Simson Making ‘Votive & Figurine Offerings’ with local Chalford clay. Curator’s talk – Patricia Brien, poetry reading with JLM Morton / votive placing ceremony with Kate Dineen.

Patricia said: “All the artists featured in this exhibition work individually with the principle that sites or places are somehow alive and material objects made with place matter hold this alchemy too. This aliveness may be invisible, or uncanny but tapping into it is a source of inspiration.”

The exhibition will take place at Hallidays Mill Gallery, London Road, Chalford, Stroud GL6 8NR.
