Visitors will get the chance to look around England’s reputedly oldest house on Easter Saturday, April 8th, 11am-4pm.

“It’s the oldest house in England, if not the oldest inn – it’s amazing, unique,” said owner Caroline Humphries.

The Ancient Ram Inn in Wotton-under-Edge was built in the 11th century and has gained a worldwide reputation as a hotspot for paranormal activity.

The Ram was bought by Caroline’s late father, John Humphries, in 1968 to be run as a guesthouse. Shortly afterwards guests experienced unexplained activity.

“Dad suspected it was haunted and the guests confirmed it,” added Caroline. “Since then it has evolved into an event location for paranormal activity.”
