The Old Town Hall is up for sale.
Located at the historic Shambles in Stroud, the building, which was once a magistrates court, is currently owned by Stroud District Council.
Marketed by ASH Chartered Surveyors, with a guide price set at £325,000, the premises are being offered on a long leasehold basis.
The Old Town Hall was built as a market house around 1594 and is Grade II* Listed. The building was once let to a clothier, and later, the first floor was the home of the Red Boys School. In 1816, the school moved upstairs to allow the first floor to be used as the magistrates’ court.
The deadline for bids is Friday, September 15, 5pm.
